Real butterfly wings are delicate natural materials, even when protected by glass. Treat your jewelry as a keepsake:
Handle gently and protect the glass from drops, impacts, and scratches.
Keep dry. Remove before bathing, swimming, exercising, washing dishes, or any activity where the piece could be submerged or exposed to heavy moisture.
Avoid perfume, lotion, hairspray, household cleaners, and other chemicals. Put jewelry on last and remove it first.
Keep away from extreme heat or cold, prolonged humidity, and direct sunlight, which may affect the wing, adhesive, or finish.
Wipe gently with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cloths, polishing compounds, or liquid jewelry cleaners.
Store separately in a cool, dry, shaded place to prevent scratching and sun exposure.
If your piece becomes wet, blot it gently with a soft cloth and allow it to dry fully. Please contact us rather than attempting to open or repair it yourself.
